BIO
My name is Jason Stamatyades, I am a Toronto based media composer, music editor and sound designer.
I studied music production for film, TV, and video games at Sheridan college in 2018 and have since been fortunate enough to have my music compositions licensed in advertisements and animations. I am also a contributor of original music to West Channel music house. My music is eclectic and runs the gamut from quirky and cute, to dark and cinematic, often combining
synthesized sounds with acoustic instruments.
As a composer I love how working with clients allows the opportunity to collaborate and develop a sound together that will work for their specific project and needs.
As a music editor and sound effects designer I have experience working as part of a post-production team in television to bring our client’s shows to life. My favourite thing about working to picture is the way it pushes me to find creative solutions and sound palettes that I’d never think of on my own.
