Jason is a Toronto-based composer, sound designer, and music editor who specializes in music for film, TV, and digital media. With a versatile skill set that blends orchestral, electronic, and hybrid sounds, Jason crafts unique soundscapes that help tell a story and bring his clients vision to life.
Jason’s notable work includes original composition and sound design for luxury design house, Hermès, and composing additional score for Season 10 of The Next Step (YTV). He also composes library music for TMZ, has scored multiple short films, and contributes original compositions to West Channel music house. With over 60 episodes of TV music editing experience across seven different shows, including award-winning productions like Work It Out Wombats (PBS Kids), Jason’s expertise spans a broad range of genres and formats.
In 2021, Jason placed 3rd in the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition, further solidifying his reputation as an emerging talent in film scoring. He honed his craft through formal training in music for film, TV, and video games at Sheridan College, where he developed a deep understanding of both traditional composition techniques and modern sound design.
As a composer, Jason particularly enjoys the collaborative nature of the work, and the opportunity to work closely with clients to develop a musical identity that aligns with their specific vision and project needs.
